RARE VINTAGE HERMAN RAMBOW POOL CUE AND ORIGINAL CASE:
$7875.00

Up for sale is a pool cue that is only rarely ever offered for sale. I doubt if ever on .A scarce investment piece that appreciates in value year after year.I have the privilege of offering for sale this museum quality pool cue made by Herman Rambow. The cue was recently purchased from an estate, the family moved from Chicago many years ago and brought the cue with them. This is truely an investment piece. It features two top pieces (as he always made per set), the multi colored inlaid bottom half and a very unusual leather stitched with large brass buckle pool cue case. The case itself is the best vintage case I've seen. The cue has a super nice black leather grip with very light wear. The cues finish is very nice, no nead of any restoration. Herman Rambow's cues were not only signed with his own name, but also who he made the cue for. This particular cue was made for Richard H. Banbury (pictures #4, 5, 6, and 9). Mr. Banbury's initials were on both top cue parts near the joint (pic. #9). This cue is very true and straight inc. both end pieces and in excellent condition. The joint screws together very tight with either end at the joint. Both cue ferrules are in fine condition as are the leathers. The cue measures 57 1/2 inches long. I have shot pool all my life and have never shot with this fine of a cue. Although I do use a late 60's custom cue.

A little history: Herman Rambow produced cues in Chicago between 1915 and 1967. He also worked with Brunswick for many years. You can find pictures of this exact cue (minus the Bradbury name of course)on the internet - check it out for authenticity. He made cues for Willie Misconi, Jackie Gleason and many other pros and semi-pros and of course someone that wants a classA cue.He was inducted into the billiards hall of fame in 1968.Any other questions please ask. See my other items for more cool stuff. Payment is due in 10 days. Shipping in the USA is35.00 including insurance and tracking in the USA. I am charging 100.00 for international shipping by Global Priority.

I would like To answer a couple of questions on the cue. This is a 4 point cue. And as far as the leather case goes, it does show some wear. It has some scratches, nicks, etc. The overall case condition is about 6.5 or 7 out of 10. Thank you.

I want to add a comment to any buyers on this cue located outside of the United States. If this cue is purchased by any person outside of the USA, you will be responsible for any shipping costs over 100.00 for full insurance and tracking via USPS global priority mail. The reason for this is the value of the cue, I will not send the cue without making 100% sure it reaches the destination. So if this does not sound fair, dont offer. Also, there will be no refunds given. You are offerding on the item as is. I have taken many pictures and described it to the best of my ability, whats in the photos is exactly what you will receive.. IT IS BEING SOLD AS IS, AS FOUND. Again, if you dont like the terms, dont offer. Thank you.
