Leaving negative feedback because this item is not advertised as in the listing. Big warning letters to never tamper with her take off the plug at the end of the barrel of the gun. Contacted the seller three times told me it was not necessary for that year gun. Try to work with him to get him to pay for an orange tip for the gun he said that the case was closed in bold capital letters. Please take time to look at the picture I’m sending this was on the guns Description. Buyer beware

Excellent purchase, quality product.
Great price for good lookin' replica. Not the chinese plastic versions you have to work on to make look authentic. Real metal fixtures and barrel, real stained wood stock. Flintlock works with trigger. Looks great on the wall right out of the box. Sturdy enough to use as a prop.

Denix 18th Century Flintlock Pistol
I build custom displays as gifts for friends, family, coworkers, etc. I've always enjoyed Denix models for collecting and giving. This pistol makes for a beautiful main piece for a pirate display I built as a Christmas gift. I distressed a flag & stained a small box for the loot. I made this display representing Henri Caesar (aka Black Caesar). He was a famous pirate who sailed with Blackbeard on the Queen Ann's Revenge as well as pirating with his own crew. I build custom displays as gifts for friends, family, coworkers, etc. I've always enjoyed Denix models for collecting and giving. Well made, moving parts... but smells.
Full sized. Real metal parts, real wood body. Working spring loaded trigger and hammer. Nice weight. Well crafted. Very nice piece. Only two minor complaints. 1st, The metal used is a type of alloy so repeated firing will eventually break the hammer, I reccomend taping a shock absorber on the strike plate to prolong its life. 2nd, the oil used to seal the body has a sharp odor to it. Solid product at an unbelievable price.
Solid, sturdy, well made with realistic feeling weight to it. the stock is a hard wood while the barrel and flintlock mechanism are metal. It's a great prop replica for an absolutely amazing price!
