Beyond it's price point
This is my 2nd Oerla fix blade knife, first off I'll start with the packaging, it's on par with a lot of 100.00 and up knives I've bought, heavy box with lid and multi piece fitted foam liner, very nice. Ergonomics are about perfect for my size large hand, no noticeable hot spots. While not shaving sharp out the box it did present a good serviceable edge, just a few minutes on the white ceramic and it was transformed to scarry sharp. I like the size, it's about perfect for an EDC fixed blade which I seem to be carrying more often than my folders these days. The sheath is a well done kydex type material, it offers near rattle free retention. The retention is just right on my example, but with a little bit of heat and adjusting you can set to your tastes, and of course it's fully ... Which brings me to the only thing I don't really care for across the board on their kydex sheaths, the enclosed locking belt clip, they work extremely well on belts and M.O.L.I.E gear, but I seldom use a belt and these clips don't work on a waist band. Not a big deal I just swap them out for an appropriate clip and save those big fancy ones that come on it. I feel this line of knives are way above their price point for what they bring to the table. I can see this going one of to ways, 1 they start cutting corners and cheapin the knives, or 2 they elevate their knives to true top shelf level which is what I'd like to see happen, hell in my opinion they're already easily worth double what they're asking for them. And it's a veteran designed product line can't hate on that. If you've looked at them and aren't sure, go for it,I promise you you won't be sorry you did. And if you are I'll buy it from you!

This knife and sheath is flat out awesome! It came extremely sharp out of the box! I love the design, ergonomics of the handle, the blade shape and Kydex sheath. Value is amazing! It's just the right size for concealed EDC! I bought another OerLa knife a week earlier and it to is excellent quality! I personally love a 420HC blade because they are tough, more rush resistant and can handle extreme use, as long as the heat treat is done properly! Also the designs are by a military veteran and I like that very much as well! Delivery was fast especially for the distance between the company and my residence! I am a fan of OerLa knives now and will be for a long time to come!!! I highly recommend these knives to all knife lovers! Don't let the great price fool you and take away from their ...
