Looks like it’s made out of good Quality material. for the price and great set up I used the 3m tape with the screws for extra protection.. one magnet is great for edc pistols but shotguns that are kinda heavy with few accessories I would recommend at least 3 magnets for a nice Secure mount so vibration don’t knock them loose.

Love it! Very versatile!
Absolutely love this magnet mount! It’s easy to install with the included hardware. The rubberized surface won’t mar the finish on your pistol. The magnet is super strong. It holds my S&W M&P Shield 9mm without issue Over very rough terrain in my truck, (I have it mounted low on my dash). Absolutely recommend for any CCH application where a handgun is involved. I haven’t tried with a rifle but the manufacturer recommends using 2 for long guns, and at such an inexpensive price I’d say it’s worth it to get extras. One for truck, one for office, use at home in your safe, there are really no restrictions on where this magnet can be utilized due to its small size. Won't hold a maverick 88 20ga shotgun with a 20" barrel on a wall vertically. But will hold a 45acp in a pickup pretty good. I purchased to hold a light shotgun on a wall and turned out dissapointed with the results.
