Vintage Army/military WWII Web Belt worn Leather Flap Smith & Wesson Revolver Holster with hook hangar. Fair used condition. Shipped with USPS first class shipping
Purchased as part of a police/government surplus lot. This unbranded leather revolver holster has a metal hanger hook for attachment to a military style fabric web belt with holes. The holster has no strap or holes for a belt to feed through it.
In fair condition with a lot of patina & discoloration from age & use. The stitching is intact & the leather is free of rips, cracks or holes. There is a lot of scratching, scuffs & a few frayed edges. And the metal hangar is a little bent.
It features a brass colored knob & a brass colored hook/hangar. The holster is made of leather without visible printing, impression or manufacturers information
It measures approximately 11 inches long from end to end. It measures approx 9 inches to the top of the flap when closed. With a flap width of about 6 inches. The barrel length is approx 4 inches however there is a 1 inch hole on the bottom that looks like it could accommodate a longer barrel
Originally used with a Smith & Wesson Victory model revolver K-frame 4 inch barrel 38 special. It will also fit any S&W model 10 Military & Police 38 revolver. It will work with any K frame S&W and the Colt Commando 38 special (This information was provided)
