Vintage Double Loop Holster & Maker Marked Hickory Cartridge Belt - Circa 1915
Description

Here is a very nice Circa 1915 Holster and Cartridge Belt. The cartridge belt is maker marked Hickory, with another marker over the top that includes some words that I can't make out. It is also marked 96 C 45. The belt has 35 cartridge slots that hold 45 caliber rounds. The belt measures 1 1/2 inches wide, with a roller belt buckle that is riveted on. The holster is made of light weight skirting leather and is patterned with a generalized profile to accept several of the different single action revolvers, including the colt single action. The double loop integral holster is recurved, with a sewn main seam that goes through the toe and is riveted at top. The color is a beautiful rich chocolate brown, with a delicate rolled border, ornately engraved. The condition of the holster and belt is super fine. It is a great looking outfit.
