Vintage Clam Shell Leather Gun Holster STANROY MFG, CA Police ClamshellThis is a very rare version by being a high-ride in the Stanroy era, and by having that spring wire loop extending up to set behind the trigger to prevent it being fired in the holster. All other Stanroys I have in my records had switched to a steel stamping with a hole in it so this version is unique.

The big stamped letters were done by the P.D. By the '60s the transition was made to The Safety Speed Holster company and it is these that were used by LAPD
