saddle was a collaboration between Bill Burman (deceased), a self taught
saddle maker from Rogue River, Oregon, and Jim Harman the silversmith,
who also lives in Southern Oregon.
The leather work on this saddle was done by Bill Burman who was known for his excellent saddles and leatherwork.
Harman who made all the sterling silver pieces for this saddle worked
in the jewelry trade for more than 30 years. His attention to detail can
be seen in the silver work on this saddle. Jim hand made 51 custom
silver pieces for this saddle. The bridle has an additional 42 pieces of
sterling silver. They were all designed and hand fitted to the contours
and cut of this astounding saddle. This is truly a one-of-a-kind
