Here is a very interesting and hard to find copy of “Prairie and Rocky Mountain Adventures or Life in the West. To Which Will Be Added A View of the States and Territorial Regions of Our Western Empire: Embracing History, Statistics and Geography, and Descriptions of the Chief Cities of the West.” by John C. Van Tramp, published in 1866. The covers and spine are nicely embossed and clean. There is some wear and splitting to the top of the cover hinges. The binding is holding strong with all pages firmly intact. The inside hinges are split, but holding strong and tight by the threads. Inside pages have some staining, foxing, and creases. Check out some of the great contents and illustrations in this book! It measures approximately 5 ½” x 8 ½” and contains 649 pages. A great book for any collection!
