Description

Here is a Vintage Maker Marked, on skirt under the toe, H.H. Heiser Double Loop Holster Style 710 Loop. The front of holster is basket stamped, as are the loops. The holster has a generous plain skirt. This right handed holster features a deeply recurved throat, open toe and sewn main seam with top and bottom rivets. The holster is mahogany brown in color, fabricated out of California skirting leather and has an unlined pouch. This holster holds a single action army revolver with a 5 1/2 inch barrel. The holster is in near new condition with no cracks, splits or tears. The bottom rivet looks to be missing, but that is an easy fix.

The H.H. Heiser Saddlery was well known as the leader in innovations of leather products, especially holsters. They were gun leather specialists and the only saddle shop that had a catalog devoted only to gun leather. Heiser was established in Denver Colorado in the 1850s.
