Great Vintage Maker Marked Eubanks Leather Boise ID Holster & Cartridge Belt
Here is a vintage Maker Marked "Eubanks Leather Boise Idaho" Holster & Cartridge Belt. The holster is marked on the back of the skirt and the belt is marked under the belt buckle. This mark is their oldest mark, which dates the holster 1939 to 1950. This holster has the buscadero pattern gun belt, and is made for a 5 1/2 inch 22 caliber revolver. The beautiful holster is made of oak tan heavy skirting leather and has a border designed skirt, with a basket weave loop. The body of the holster is completely basket weaved and has a rawhide laced main seam running through the closed toe. It has a shallow recurved trimmed throat and is cantered for quick draw. It has no safety strap, but has tie downs. The unlined single thickness belt is 3 inches wide and 36 inches long to middle hole of belt. The belt is also basket weaved and is faced with one row of loops to carry 22 cartridges. The holster is in pristine condition, maybe used a few times.
Eubanks Leather Company started in Boise Idaho in 1939. They produced high quality leather goods and sold out in 1950.
