Frank C. McCarthy: The Wild West For Sale

IN 1981 Greenwich Press Ltd. offered as a limited edition book , the works of the famous western artist Frank C. McCarthy. It was released in a signed and numbered edition of 1500 copies and it was accompanied by a McCarthy limited edition signed and numbered print "Crossing the Divide". It has 76 McCarthy paintings which are complimented with text by noted Western writer Elmer Kelton with the introduction by Louis L'Amour. The book measures 13" by 17" and is bound with a single red cowhide with gold embossed name and is packaged in a cloth and leather protective case. Lithography is in five colors, and the paper is a custom sheet that has been made especially for the book. The limited edition print is 17" by 22 1/2" and in a protective portfolio.
