This 1880 Edition has been stored in a smoke free library, is in VG condition and has been stored carefully over the years. The cover shows light soiling from storage and use. Inks show some fading on the spine. The cloth boards are straight and true with sharp corners. Please note light wear to the front end sheet with a light split seam. The title page has a light tear about one inch in length at the center top (See Photo) as well as two other light partial tears on pages inside. Binding and Signatures are excellent with no loose pages. Inks are clean and bright with superior sharp looking typography. The interior pages are uniformly flat and in excellent condition with the notation of a few incidences of pen marks (random) and do show typical foxing from the aging. The original owner's name appears on the back end sheet, neatly written. No bookplates, price clippings, etc. This is a beautiful used 131 year old copy, sure to please, especially compared against the more recent reprints with variable quality. The book is complete including all 66 of the beautiful illustrations capturing the authentic flavor of Wild West.

known photographer is a native of Oregon and the grandson of Clyde Leon
Keller, a noteworthy Plein-Air Impressionist Painter of California and
Pacific NW subject matter. Keller
currently resides in Bend, Oregon where he is actively engaged in
creative photography projects continuing his lifelong interest in the
photographic arts. His current work features Wide-Field Panoramas.
Clyde is known world-wide for his photographs of Robert Kennedy. His
