Cowboy Spurs STAR STEEL SILVER August Buermann STEERHEAD ENGRAVED Hair Pullers For Sale

Up for sale are a pair of spurs stamped STAR STEEL SILVER. These were from August Buermann prior to the North & Judd takeover in 1929. The spurs were for rough stock bulls and broncs. The rowels are handmade \"hair pullers.\" The spur body is #1044. These have arrow shanks with engraved arrows. Outside buttons engraved and the outside band is engraved with steer heads. There are drilled holes in both shanks to allow baling wire tie downs to keep the spur shank from riding up and being ineffective. Nice early spurs.
