SHOOT! Magazine Editorial - Vol. 19, Nov/Dec 2002

"Chucky"(Editorial Continued)

We must also remember that without the vendors and sponsors, including the gun manufacturers, leather companies, clothiers, and other vendors, we would probably not have the capability to participate in something that brings our hearts back to the Old West, that is so much fun, and that provides the warmth of friendship and sportsmanship.

Please make sure that each of you continues to make every effort to encourage others, support potential new shooters, as well as the long-time shooters, and continues the fight to support our 2nd Amendment rights, because everyone should have the privilege of enjoying our heritage.  Remember, every shooter and every hunter out there has the potential of becoming a Western-action shooter, be it cowboy shooting, black powder cartridge silhouette, buffalo matches, or going hunting with a cowboy firearm, and every non-shooter has the potential of supporting or denying you your sport.  Help them understand what is involved.

May the coming year be one of happiness and prosperity for all of you.

Happy trails,

Chucky
