Continued)
We
recently published an article on "Blowing up Sixguns" in
Volume 19 (Nov/Dec 2002 issue) that caused quite a bit of
controversy and questions, most of it good from my viewpoint as it
caused people to think about what they do when reloading.
The article was truthful as the writers intended it to be.
However, there was some response in connection to readers
assuming that the quality of the firearms was at fault.
This was neither the intent, NOR the fact!
The firearms used had nothing to do with the end results of
having the sixguns destroyed.
I have included an article in this issue that describes
this in more detail on page 15.
It
must be the intention of every person that works for and submits
articles and photographs to SHOOT!
Magazine to make their
material factual to the best of their ability.
We verify what we can, but that is not always possible
based upon articles submitted from all over the world.
I thank all of our writers for doing an excellent job in
presenting the truth and presume upon you, the writer, to continue
to accept the responsibility that comes with taking up the pen.
